GENERAL DATA PROTECTION REGULATION
In order to comply with the General Data Protection Regulation of 27 April 2016 (European Regulation known as "GDPR"), MOREL France SAS informs its customers:
Article 1 - Purpose of the processing (purposes):
The company MOREL France SAS, whose registered office is located in MORBIER (39400) – RCS LONS LE SAUNIER under number 646 350 231 – has an online sales website and is required to collect and process personal data (hereinafter referred to as "Data or Data") in the context of the performance of its contractual obligations, legal rights and its legitimate interest; and this, in accordance with the regulations in force on the protection of personal data, applicable in Europe and in France (in particular the provisions of the GDPR as well as the legal provisions adopted subsequently in France).
The personal information that may be collected on its site is mainly used by the said company and/or its subsidiaries to:
- To perform obligations related to its business and the sale of its products (to give you access to the features and services to which you have subscribed) ;
- Manage orders, online purchases, returns, right of withdrawal ;
- Manage deliveries ;
- Respond to your various requests (questions, complaints, ...) or perform a contract with you ;
- Manage the online service (notifications in case of suspension of the service, ...);
- To manage relations with the Client and, where applicable, for the proper processing of orders placed, their payments and deliveries ;
- Inform the Client of upcoming sales and events, by sending invitation emails ;
- Strengthen and personalise communication, in particular by sending newsletters, special offers (competitions, games, ...) and special emails to its customers who have not objected to or accepted it, as well as in the context of personalising the site according to the Customers' preferences (marketing operation – loyalty, promotions, ...);
- Manage requests for the right of access, rectification, opposition, ...;
- To analyse preferences and browsing habits on the website in order to carry out statistics and send promotional offers ;
- Carry out statistical analyses of consumption and site traffic ;
- Comply with legal and regulatory provisions in order to ensure, where applicable, the compliance of MOREL France SAS with its legal obligations ;
- Enforce its contracts ;
- Resolve any disputes ;
- Defend the rights of MOREL France SAS in the context of legal proceedings.
When certain information is mandatory to access specific features of its site, MOREL France SAS will indicate this mandatory nature at the time of data entry.
When creating or consulting their account, the Customer may choose to receive offers, in particular commercial offers, sent by the company MOREL France SAS: if they do not wish to do so, they will tick the appropriate box in the order form.
Article 2 - Categories of data collected:

- Data relating to means of payment: bank card number, expiry date of the bank card, visual cryptogram (which is immediately deleted);
- Data necessary for the realization of loyalty and prospecting actions: purchase history.
MOREL France SAS ensures that it collects and processes only data that is strictly necessary for the purpose of the processing that is implemented. The data collected indirectly will only be used to monitor the volume, type and configuration of traffic using the site, to develop its design and layout and for other administrative and planning purposes and more generally to improve the service that MOREL France SAS offers you. This data is collected only for the purposes listed above and each time you use one of our features or services.
Article 3 - Rights of the natural person:
The Client has the rights provided for by the General Data Protection Regulation of 27 April 2016, namely:
- A right to limit data processing;
- The right to object to personal data concerning him/her;
- A right of access to this data;
- The right to rectify, update and delete personal data concerning him/her;
- A right to portability of the same;
- A right to be forgotten.

If, when consulting the MOREL France SAS website, you access personal data, you must refrain from any collection, any unauthorised use and any act that may constitute an infringement of the privacy or reputation of individuals. MOREL France SAS declines all responsibility in this regard.
The Client may exercise their rights at any time by sending a request to the following email address: rgpd@morel-france.com. A reply will be sent to the applicant within one month of receipt of the request. In this sense, MOREL France SAS may request proof of the identity of the person concerned in order to verify its accuracy for security reasons and avoid any fraudulent request. After processing the request, this receipt will be destroyed. He also has the right to lodge a complaint with the « Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertés (CNIL) ».
Article 4 - Data retention period:
This data is kept for the entire duration of the commercial relationship (data necessary for the management of orders, invoicing and the implementation of loyalty actions and prospecting), and for as long as necessary in order to fulfil the contractual obligations of the company MOREL France SAS, to comply with its legal obligations, in particular in terms of accounting and taxation, and to fulfill the purposes described in its privacy policy.
A retention period, which may not exceed 10 years, is applied after the end of the contract (or last purchase), legal retention periods, and 3 years for newsletters if the Customer is inactive. During these periods, MOREL France SAS implements all the means to ensure the confidentiality and security of the data. Data relating to means of payment are not kept by MOREL France SAS: they are collected during the transaction and are immediately deleted as soon as the purchase is paid.
MOREL France SAS is also entitled to store and process data by virtue of its legitimate interest. It may also keep your data after you have stopped using the services of MOREL France SAS in accordance with the legal prescription. At the end of this period, MOREL France SAS undertakes to irreversibly delete all documents and files containing data. However, the personal data necessary to comply with legal and regulatory obligations - or to allow proof of the respective rights and obligations to be provided in the context of the exercise of the defence of one's rights - will be kept by the company MOREL France SAS.
Data relating to purchases made, allowing profiling to be carried out for marketing purposes, will be kept for a limited period of time in accordance with the maximum period permitted by law. At the end of the term, the data will be irreversibly deleted. In any case, at the end of each retention period, the personal data will be irreversibly deleted.
Article 5 - Legal reasons for disclosing your data:
MOREL France SAS may disclose your personal data to third parties only in the following specific cases:
- For assistance purposes if MOREL France SAS must call on service providers to provide IT support and maintenance services;
- For the purposes of complying with any applicable law, regulation, legal procedure or other legal obligation or for the purpose of safeguarding the rights of MOREL France SAS, its employees, customers or others;
- For security purposes, investigation to enable the prevention of security issues, fraud or technical problems;
- In the event of a merger/absorption or acquisition of MOREL France SAS with another company;
- In the event of the sale or transfer of MOREL France SAS ;
- In the event of restructuring, insolvency proceedings or any other similar event, in accordance with applicable law.
Article 6 - Recipients of the data:
The information collected by MOREL France SAS is kept by the persons who have exclusive use of it (customer services and invoicing of the company) and may be communicated to third parties linked to MOREL France SAS by contract for the performance of subcontracted tasks necessary for the management of the Client's account (subcontractors in charge of order execution, delivery, execution or verification of payment) but also to carry out satisfaction surveys without the Client having to give his or her consent. In the event of a proven infringement of legal or regulatory provisions, this information may also be communicated upon express and reasoned request from the judicial authorities.
The service providers of the company MOREL France SAS have limited access to the data of the natural person concerned, in the context of the performance of the service entrusted to them and have a contractual obligation to use them in accordance with the provisions of the applicable regulations on the protection of personal data. The e-mail addresses of customers who have accepted it may be transmitted to the commercial partners of the company MOREL France SAS (list of commercial partners regularly updated). Article 7 – Cookies:
The MOREL France SAS website may automatically collect standard information such as the Customer's connection data. Any information collected indirectly will only be used to track the volume, type and pattern of traffic using this site, to develop its design and layout and for other administrative and planning purposes and more generally to improve the service that MOREL France SAS offers to its customers. Article 8 – Security:
MOREL France SAS ensures the security and confidentiality of your data by implementing data protection through the use of physical, logistical and information system security means, in particular by implementing technical and organisational measures to prevent them from being used, disclosed, captured, or damaged by unauthorised third parties.
