Inspiration at the tip of the pencil
MOREL created the largest eyewear Design Center in France, where designers, colorists, and graphic artists work hand in hand to create over 700 models each year.
A work of experts
The designs created by the Design Center are handed over to the expert hands of Valérie Prillard, MOREL’s prototypist and the first woman to receive the prestigious title of Meilleur Ouvrier de France in eyewear. Thanks to her exceptional craftsmanship, she creates the full-scale frame prototypes entirely by hand, staying as true as possible to the original sketches.
Quality at all times
MOREL has its own certified quality laboratory, where a dedicated research and development team, trained by Alutec, tests each frame before it goes to market.
The MOREL hinge
The MOREL teams developed a patented hinge, without screws or welding. It draws its essence from a European design philosophy: Design to Function, where every element serves its purpose.
